Tips on how to use condoms properly

By using condoms properly, you can avoid accidents and problems. You can prevent a condom from breaking or slipping off while fucking by using plenty of lube and by making sure you choose the right type of condom and put it on properly.

Use lube

Add plenty of lube on the outside of the condom, but not too much on the penis itself. This reduces the chances that the condom will tear or slide off.

The right way to put on a condom

  • Watch out for sharp fingernails, teeth and rings when opening the package and putting on the condom.
  • Make sure his or your penis is hard enough. Not hard enough yet? In that case, wait before you put on the condom.
  • Pinch the little reservoir at the top of the condom between your thumb and index finger, place the condom at the top end of the penis and unroll it all the way down with your other hand. That way there won't be any air in the reservoir but still enough room for the sperm.
  • Never wear two condoms at the same time. If they rub against each other, they will tear more easily.

If the penis has become soft during fucking or after coming, just slide the condom off the penis. Make sure that no sperm leaks out from the condom in the process. Tie a knot in the open end of the condom and throw it away in a rubbish bin.

Prevent condoms from tearing

Despite the good quality of condoms, they can become damaged before use or they can tear during sex.
The following tips will reduce the chances of accidents happening:

  • Never use condoms after the expiration date.
  • Watch out for sharp fingernails and teeth.
  • Unroll the condom over the penis without pulling it.
  • Apply plenty of water-based or silicone-based lube to the outside of the condom. Never use oil or grease.
  • Check now and then to make sure the condom is still on.
  • If you continue fucking for more than 15 minutes, replace the first condom with a new one.

Prevent condoms from slipping off

If you are using the right size of condom and you have unrolled it properly, it will not easily slip off.
Nevertheless, it still could be pulled off or slip off.  For that reason, keep in mind the following:

  • Choose the right size of condom. If you can easily pull off the condom, it is probably too wide.
  • To prevent the penis from being too slippery when you unroll the condom, don't use too much lube on the penis itself.
  • Roll the condom down over as much of the penis as possible.
  • When fucking, make sure the penis goes no further than then bottom edge of the condom.

Keeping condoms

Pay attention to the expiration date on the packaging. After that date, the condom is more fragile and may not protect against HIV and other STIs.

  • Keep your condoms in a cool, dark and safe place. Don't keep them in the sun or near sharp objects.
