Kissing is the safest in terms of the possible transmission of HIV and other STIs.

You cannot get HIV from kissing.
Risks in terms of STIs
- You can get herpes (i.e. cold sores) from (tongue) kissing.
- If you have inflamed gums or a small wound or blister in your mouth, the transmission of Hepatitis B can take place more easily.
Reduce the risk
- Get vaccinated against Hepatitis B for free.
- Maintain good oral hygiene and keep your teeth and gums healthy.
